Artificial Intelligence (AI) is up for a major revolution navigating its ethical dimensions, and understanding its profound implications on the future landscape of employment, the future buzzword of the global job market would be AI to the extent that almost 95 per cent of the available jobs would be AI-oriented, according to experts attending aHuman Resources conference at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre on Tuesday.

Themed 'Sprinting towards the Future of Work', the 7th edition of the OSHRM Conference with the banner HR_X, held under the auspices of Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al Busaidy, Governor of Muscat.

Throughout the conference, attendees will engage in robust discussions on diverse topics, including emerging business trends, transformative human resource technologies, strategic workforce planning, and the evolving landscape of work

Participants will glean insights from global executive leaders representing renowned institutions, while also exploring the pivotal role of governments in shaping the future of work environments.

Speaking to the Observer, Malek Osseiran, Head of Mid Markets- MENA- LTS, said that AI would be the future mantra in the job market stating with job analysis, vacancy reporting, recruitment, training, development, retention and so on and so forth. “In light of the rapid progression of AI, ways of spearheading action based on the emerging AI revolution should be explored along with AI ethics and its impact on the future of jobs, as well as the technology’s role in digital transition and sustainable development,” he said.
