Civil Aviation Authority unveils new brand authority

Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) launched its new identity and also that of the Civil Aviation Club under the patronage of Dr. Kamel bin Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.

The newly developed identity is part of the plans to keep pace with global changes and support future visions, strategic directions, and goals.

Eng Naif bin Ali al Abri - President of CAA, said that the launch of the new identity reflects the launch of the Afaq program launched in 2021, a program from which nine strategic programs emerged, one of which is our Identity program, highlighting the new identity and the change in institutional culture.





Hamed bin Ahmed al-Barashdi, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Club - said that the club has been operating as an entertainment center for more than 40 years for civil aviation employees and other 1,000 members and the club provides an attractive environment for young people and families.

He added that the launch of the new visual identity of the Civil Aviation Club comes in line with the development it is witnessing in services and facilities, as well as the development of policies and strategies related to its work and management according to effective governance, and it works according to a comprehensive strategic plan to develop it into a pioneering modern institution that takes into account human capital, cares about customers, and improves...

The Authority's developed logo consists of the letters of the abbreviation of the name in English (CAA), and the aircraft that symbolizes the authority’s responsibility as a regulating body for the civil aviation sector, and its upward direction indicates its ambition to reach the highest levels in the fields of civil aviation

The side shapes are inspired by the handle of the Omani dagger, in addition to the name of the authority in both languages. Arabic and English.

The logo also includes two basic colors: dark blue and green. The dark blue color expresses sustainability, depth, and open space, while the green color expresses diversity and prosperity, and is used in air navigation lights that help aircraft crews determine the direction of other aircraft to ensure air safety.

As for the identity of the Civil Aviation Club, it was taken from the Civil Aviation Authority logo. The logo consists of CAC, which is the abbreviation of the club’s name in English, and the letter A refers to the aircraft derived from the Civil Aviation Authority logo. The club’s logo consists of three basic colors, which are dark blue, Orange, and turquoise.
