Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman received a media delegation from the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on an official visit for several days. The delegation comprised Saud al Janabi, Head of the News Department; Haya al Amera, Editor in the Broadcasting Department; and Al Yazia al Kaabi, a journalist in the Business Department. The delegation aims to strengthen media cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

During the visit, the delegation met with some officials at the Oman News Agency (ONA) office, the news department of Oman TV, and the Arabic and English newspapers of Oman. During these meetings, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of exchanging news and information and exchanging experiences and expertise between media institutions in the two countries.

The delegation stressed during the visit the importance of media cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing the need to continue exchanging news and information effectively and to strengthen cooperation in various media fields.

For its part, the Omani side welcomed the Emirati delegation, expressing its happiness at exchanging experiences and expertise between media institutions in the two countries.

This visit comes within the framework of the two countries' keenness to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields, including the media field.
