An innovative room to improve the work environment and transform it into an attractive, healthy and inspiring work environment for employees was opened by Salim bin Ali al Hakmani, Chairman of the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA).

The idea of the innovative room came as a qualitative initiative from the Innovation and Development Department of the General Directorate of Studies and Development at the level of government institutions, aiming to improve the work environment by transforming it into an attractive, healthy and inspiring work environment for employees, and to raise job satisfaction, loyalty, and improve performance and productivity.
It also aims to enhance communication and interaction among employees, encourage cooperation and teamwork, culture of innovation and stimulate creativity.
The room has been prepared to be a comfortable and attractive environment where the employee can resort to relieve work pressures, or when the employee wants to work away from the office environment.
It can also host some events, such as holding workshops, meetings, brainstorming sessions, signing agreements, cooperation programmes and lectures, as it is equipped with all means to be a successful and inspiring experience for everyone.
The importance of the initiative comes as it will lead to the advancement of several indicators in CPA's institutional proficiency, as it helps to raise the indicator of the number of activated initiatives and partnerships and the indicator of allocating a budget to support innovation within the indicators of the innovation standard directly.
