UTAS Musandam signs cooperation pact with Indian University
KHASAB: The University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Musandam signed a significant cooperation agreement with the Cochin University of Science and Technology in India. The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in scientific research, innovation, entrepreneurship, student exchange, and the exchange of experiences and knowledge at the faculty level.

The agreement, signed by Dr Ahmed bin Said al Shehri, Assistant President of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Musandam, and Dr Vasundathi Meera, Registrar General of Cochin University of Science and Technology, lays the foundation for joint research in various academic fields. The focus areas include computer science, information, engineering, technology, economics and business administration.

The collaboration extends to training and research programmes, where university students will participate, contributing to skill refinement and capability development. The ultimate goal is to achieve sustainable development goals, contribute to knowledge creation and build national capabilities through this bilateral collaboration. - ONA
