“The awards reflect the talent and hard work of learners and acknowledge the dedication and the joint commitment of teachers, parents, and the school”, said Ahmad Assaf, Senior Manager Gulf and Middle East, Head of Ministry Relationships, Gulf Cambridge University Press and Assessment.

The awards recognise Faisal bin Saleh al Numani for ranking top in Oman in the Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language Speaking Endorsement, Mohammed al Amri for securing the top category in First Language Arabic, Khadija al Yahyaie for excelling in Information and Communication Technology, and Wasan al Kabani for achieving High Achievement in the Global Perspectives syllabus.

In 2016, he mentioned that ABMIPS was the first school in Oman and the Gulf to pilot the Global Perspectives curriculum.
