His Majesty meets Indian businessmen

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Sunday gave an audience at his residency in New Delhi to several prominent businessmen in India.
The audience exchanged views on economic and trade topics as His Majesty the Sultan urged them to explore the promising investment opportunities available in various fields in Oman.
Businessmen said it was a great honor to meet His Majesty the Sultan and stressed that the meeting would help increase exchange trade and investment between the two countries.
Attend the meeting were Abdul Salam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority; and Qais bin Mohammed al Yousuf, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP), Engineer Salem bin Nasser al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, and Pankaj Khimji, Foreign Trade Advisor and International Cooperation at MOCIIP, and Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Issa Bin Saleh al Shaibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India.
