MUSCAT: Al Bashayer Club emerged triumphant against Dhofar with a resounding score of 106-36 at the subsidiary hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Baushar, as part of the second round of competitions in the general basketball league for the 2023-24 season.
Al Bashayer team demonstrated their prowess across all four quarters, ultimately temporarily claiming the top spot in the league standings with 19 points.
Key players, including Hadeed Beit Bukhait, Osama al Riyami, Damon, Adel al Battashi, Bassam al Busaidy, Ahmed al Jouri, and Nouh al Mahruqi, played crucial roles in achieving a significant result.
Al Bashayer started aggressively, advancing by 9 points through the synergy of their defence and offence, with Mahmoud al Souli, Damon, and a three-pointer from Osama al Riyami contributing to the score.
