Foreign Minister, Romanian counterpart exchange views on current regional developments

Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, on Tuesday received a phone call from Luminița Odobescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Romania, during which the two ministers exchanged views on current regional situations. They affirmed a common desire to develop cooperation and maximize the two countries’ mutual interests.
The two ministers also discussed the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. They stressed the need to put an end to the aggression through a ceasefire. They also laid emphasis on highly needed measures to protect civilians in the Strip, provide them with living requirements and implement the international law in addressing this crisis and terminate the ongoing conflict by realizing the Two-State Solution.
