The Airports Council International ACI, the ACI Asia-Pacific, the ACI Middle East, and the ACI Europe will inaugurate November 21, the first edition of the 'Airport Innovate' Conference and Exhibition.

Muscat is hosting the event, under the theme 'Unveiling the Future.'

The event will address the latest innovations that bring about radical change in the airport industry.

The opening ceremony will be sponsored by Engineer Hamoud bin Said Al-Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

'Oman Airports' will host this first edition of the conference in the next two days on November 21 and 22.

The event will be attended by more than 400 participants, including airport leaders, CEOs, delegates, more than 30 exhibitors and sponsors, and over 60 speakers.

It will attract an influential audience comprising aviation technology developers, airline companies, civil aviation authorities, industry suppliers, transportation experts, and stakeholders in this sector.

Over the course of two days, participants will discuss the latest trends, developments, and technological innovations in the airport sector through 23 sessions, including visual presentations and panel discussions.

More than 45 CEOs from global airport leaders will explore the sector's readiness for innovation, artificial intelligence realms, and the latest technologies and innovations designed to enhance the travel experience and operational practices in the airport sector.

Additionally, 14 global institutions will display their latest products dedicated to airports in the exhibition held on the sidelines of the conference. Local emerging tech companies, alongside global counterparts, will participate in the exhibitions to showcase their innovations in aviation and airports.

Day 1 of the conference, on November 21, will feature 12 sessions, including presentations and panel discussions.

They will discuss several topics including the readiness of innovation leaders. CEOs of airports in Turkey, Milan, and Vinci Company, which manages major airports in America, Europe, and Asia will participate in this session.

Another session will address the importance of innovation and the future of airports, with representatives from Google, Amazon, Cisco, and Edimia participating. A third session will discuss the use of artificial intelligence to improve the travel experience in airports.
