Global Entrepreneurship Week underway until Nov 19

The activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week, currently underway until November 19 with the aim of promoting the culture of entrepreneurship, are targeting various groups, and encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises to be more productive and adaptable competitive in local and international markets.
The SMEDA organised Global Entrepreneurship Week targeting owners of small and medium enterprises, incubators, craftsmen, as well as school, college, and university students, job seekers, and all members of society.
Its organisation aims to enhance the culture of entrepreneurship among young people and those with innovative ideas, and encourage them to generate pioneering ideas that depend on creativity and innovation through workshops and events accompanying the week, and to support the development of small and medium enterprises. It also, comes to introduce entrepreneurship as an essential strategy for developing the national economy and achieving development sustainable.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week includes many events in all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, the most prominent of which is the Entrepreneurship Clinic, which provides free consultations for entrepreneurs, small enterprises and small and medium enterprises facing challenges in their entrepreneurial journey.
A consultation session will also be held, which will contribute to increasing the awareness of owners of incubated small and medium enterprises in the field of entrepreneurship in cooperation with experts and representatives of government and private agencies and consultants. Even, workshops entitled the Enterprise Stock Exchange in cooperation with the Capital Market Authority, nomination for the International Support Fund for Cultural Diversity, and effective marketing for emerging companies and holding Entrepreneurship Cup events.
