Bank Muscat thump Glam Homes; TECS, Musandam win

MUSCAT: Bank Muscat bamboozled Glam Homes CT claiming victory by 6 wickets on Friday and TECS beat OCT Ruwi by 3 wickets on Saturday in the A Division League 2023-24 powered by Khimji Ramdas LLC played at Oman Cricket Academy Turf 2.
Bank Muscat’s Deepak Kumar’s fiery spell of 8 overs conceding just 13 runs and claiming the wickets of the first four batsmen of Glam Homes put Bank Muscat on the cruise. Zeeshan Tufail’s 4-wicket haul along with Sheeraz Akbar’s 2 wickets summed up the Glam Homes innings on a mere 60 runs. In response, Bank Muscat eased past the target claiming victory with 6 wickets in hand.
In another A Division match, TECS’ Jaleel Kannambath took a fifer along with two wickets each from Shanidh KT and Prathiesh HR bundling down OCT Ruwi for a paltry 103. Mohammed al Balushi scored 48.
In reply, OCT Ruwi claimed wickets in quick succession as TECS were 54-7 at a stage courtesy 3-wicket haul from Shoaib Ismail al Balushi
and two wickets each from Ali Akbar al Balushi and Zubair al Balushi. Ali Mohammed scored 31 while Shanidh KT and Prathiesh HR’s fifty run partnership for the eighth wicket helped TECS beat OCT Ruwi by 3 wickets.
In the C Division League 2023-24 powered by Credit Oman, Musandam Power beat Mordern Muscat Mountains by 14 runs on Friday at Municipality Grounds.
