CDAA inks pact with Singapore’s COSEM

Muscat: The Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (CDAA) on Thursday signed a consultation and training agreement with COSEM Company, the consultative wing of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
The agreement aims to upgrade the ranking of the national team for search and rescue in accordance with the requirements of the United Nation’s (UN) International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG).
Moreover, the agreement was signed by Brigadier Salim Yahya al Hinai, Chairman of the Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance and Ng Chee Kiang, CEO of COSEM.
