MUSCAT: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) concluded the mobile promotional workshops it organised to introduce and promote the heritage and tourism components of the Sultanate of Oman in the Gulf market in Dubai. The workshop was launched in Kuwait, passing through Qatar and Bahrain.

More than 100 tourism companies participated in the promotional campaign in Dubai, and it witnessed the presence of major tourism companies.

These workshops in the Gulf market come within the Ministry's tourism promotion strategy by organising multiple campaigns to market the Sultanate of Oman as a heritage, natural, beach, mountainous and cultural destination, and to promote adventure tourism, which is gaining growing momentum around the world.

The Ministry also continues with tourism stakeholders to establish new relationships and contacts with holiday service providers from emerging markets, in addition to introducing new tourism and heritage projects and important tourist destinations.

Participants in the promotional workshops praised the success of the event organised by the Ministry and the efforts made to advance the tourism sector in the Sultanate of Oman.

The tourism companies presented the various services and tourism programmes and facilities they provide to the visitor, in addition to reviewing the services and offers they provide. They also conduct meetings to discuss ways to enhance integration and partnership in various tourism fields in order to develop the competitiveness of the sector. — ONA
