A look at new Oman Air board of directors

Muscat: Oman Air recently held its Ordinary General Assembly, which was presided over by Eng. Saeed Al Mawali, chairman of the board of directors.
During the meeting, some of the company's board members were replaced with new members who have extensive global experience in the aviation sector, the company in a statement.

The company's Board of Directors also held a meeting on August 19 to approve the new organizational structure of the company and the implementation steps of the transformation program.
Al Mawali emphasized the need for collaborative efforts in the coming period to enhance the company's capabilities in line with the government's directives that focus on maximizing investment returns and achieving financial sustainability for Oman Air.
The General Assembly of Oman Airports Company also dissolved its previous board of directors and a new board of directors was appointed under the leadership of Al Mawali, the Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.
The first meeting of its new board of directors reviewed the strategy for the next 5 years and its financial performance for the first half of the current year.
