Oman, USA in first friendly meets in Minnesota

MUSCAT: The Oman National Football team will play against United States in friendly match on September 12, at Allianz Stadium in St. Paul, Minnesota.
As part of Red Worries preparations for the joint qualifiers for the FIFA 2026 and the Asian Nations 2027, as well as the Asian Nations Championship 2023 in Qater, in same time the USA prepare to host the 2026 World Cup in partnership with Mexico and Canada.
The American Football Association announced the launch of tickets for the friendly match with Oman, the ticket prices will be between 30-80 US dollars, as the tickets were offered to the subscribers on July 5, and for masses on July 13. At Allianz Stadium which can accommodate up to 19,000 spectators.
As well as they offered tickets for the meeting between United States and Uzbekistan on September 9 match, at City Park Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri.
Oman national team will start the preparation for these events with internal camp on the beginning of the September, also the federation are seeking to orgnaise friendly confrontation in Muscat before traveling to the United States, the confrontation is expected to be on September 7 or 8.
Oman and America meet is the first that brings two teams together, and Oman team will be the opponent number 103 in the history of the United States.
Where national team played before with some CONCACAF teams, including the Haiti team belonging to the Caribbean, which played on March 20, 2013 at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher, when Oman won 3-0 by Abdulaziz al Muqbali, as preparation to travel to Sydney to face Australia for 2014 World Cup qualifier.
Oman team also played against Costa Rica, Central America, in Sohur Sports Complex on October 10, 2014, when they 4-3, Oman goals scored by Rayed Ibrahim, Mohammed Ali al Siyabi and Emad al Hosani, as preparation to participate in the Asian Nations Championship in Australia in 2015.
