OOC approves programme of participation in events abroad for 2023

Muscat: The Board of Directors of Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) held a regular meeting during which it approved the programme of its participation in events abroad for this year (2023).
The schedule was outlined as follows: The 15th Arab Sports Games in Algeria from July 5 to 15, World Beach Games in Bali, Indonesia, from August 5 to 12, the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 8, the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) in Bangkok from November 17 to 26 and the first GCC Junior Sports Tournament in the United Arab Emirates next December.
Consulting minutes of recent meetings, the OOC Board instructed the management to address concerns expressed by some board members. It also approved the financial standing as at the end of May 2023.
