First Oman-Bahrain Products Expo begins

With the participation of 32 Omani and Bahraini entrepreneurs besides a number of owners of small and medium-sized companies, the first Omani-Bahraini Products Exhibition under the auspices of Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Bahraini Minister of Industry and Trade, got underway at the Seef Mall in Manama on Wednesday.
Organised in coordination with the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association, several small and medium entrepreneurs in the exhibition takes part in the Expo, thanks to the coordination of the embassies of the two brotherly countries, as well as the Omani-Bahrain Friendship Association, headed by Rudina bint Amer al Hajariya, President of the Omani-Bahrain Friendship Association.
'We are happy to organise the first of such a exhibition of various products and services from both friendly countries thanks to the Bahrain Society for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, and with the support of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority,' said Rudina bint Amer al Hajariya, President of the Omani-Bahrain Friendship Association.
In addition to being a distinguished event that aimed at reviving the economic and commercial movement between Omani and Bahraini entrepreneurs and merchants, the Expo also aims at developing the process of trade exchange and investments in joint national and economic projects to serve the two brotherly countries.
A delegation from the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is participating in the exhibition, in cooperation with the Omani-Bahrain Friendship Association, through a special corner for tourist information, through which the tourism potentials of the Sultanate of Oman is being promoted to the visitors to the exhibition, and the Bahraini people are introduced to the most important sites, cities and tourist attractions in the Sultanate of Oman.
The exhibition which is open for four days from Wednesday till Saturday, May 27 also brings together a group of the most luxurious and best Arab perfumes and incense, and types of Omani and Bahraini fragrant scents that bear the signature of high-end brands, retailers and distributors of luxury goods, and many other products including Omani sweets, Omani frankincense, incense, clothes, abayas, silverware, and Omani handicrafts, and honey. Omani entrepreneurs who are specialised in cosmetics and personal care products are also showcasing their offerings at the Expo.
