Comex 2023 begins in Muscat

 
Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar, opened the Comex 2023 exhibition on Monday.

Engineer Saeed bin Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIIT) said, 'Digital Investment' is the main theme of this year's exhibition and for the exhibition.'

The OQ group signed eight agreements and memorandums of understanding in the fields of digital transformation and Fourth Artificial Revolution technologies with a number of specialized international companies and small and medium enterprises.

Muscat Municipality introduced several online services at Comex2023 on Monday.

The services include a new version of the municipality application for smartphones, in addition to introducing those interested in the municipality's WhatsApp (Maeen) platform and an automated service to respond to requests. The municipality will also present electronic services for camping permits and the online payment portal. Visitors to Comex will experience the traffic control system, the smart lighting management system, and the digital integration and connectivity plan.

Oman Airports has signed an agreement with Vodafone Oman to provide 5G service at Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport. The agreement will help increase the efficiency of using internet services at airport corridors and other specialized services to enhance operational efficiency at Oman airports, on the sidelines of events Comex Exhibition.
