Royal Hospital awarded platinum status by ACI

Muscat: The Royal Hospital was awarded Platinum status by Accreditation Canada International (ACI), which figures among the world’s leading accreditation institutions. ACI rating is applied in 35 countries and about 12,000 health institutions around the world.

This evaluation was a first instance within the stages of assessment-for- accreditation that began in 2016. It constitutes a major development after the hospital obtained the gold level.

This advanced status caps up the efforts undertaken by the Royal Hospital and its management in improving and fine-tuning the services rendered to all segments of society

Dr Sami Sulaiman al Farsi, Director General of the Royal Hospital, told Oman News Agency (ONA) that the hospital's attaining ACI’s Platinum level represents an embodiment of Oman Vision 2040.

The evaluation enhances Omani health services’ position on the global arena and reflects the hospital's efforts to provide quality services to patients in line with international standards, Al Farsi added.
