Oman Across Ages Museum opens its doors to visitors

Muscat: Oman Across Ages Museum opened its doors to visitors on Saturday and a few categories of visitors were exempted from entry fees.
These categories include those over 60 years old, Omani and GCC citizens, residents of the Sultanate of Oman, students of schools, institutes, colleges, and universities (proof to be presented), employees of various public and private museums operating in the Sultanate of Oman, members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the International Council on Monuments and Sites of UNESCO (ICOMOS), persons with disabilities (one companion is exempted from entry fees), tour guides licensed by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, and hotel guides working in licensed hotels in the Sultanate of Oman, social security families (proof to be provided) and teachers accompanying groups of students from schools, colleges, and universities on pre-arranged visits.
How to get there
It is easily accessible from Nizwa City and just 14.6km (approx16 minutes) from the Nizwa Grand Mall and 21.6km (approx 23 minutes) from Nizwa Fort.
The Museum hall will be open between 9 am and 5 pm (Saturday to Thursday).
The main gate, knowledge center, and facilities will be open between 9 am and 9 pm.
Ramadhan timings: Between 10 am and 9 pm.
The museum will be closed on the first day of Eid al Fitr Adha and Eid al Adha.

Expatriates: RO2
Tourists: RO5
Tickets can be purchased online or via Self-service machines at the venue.
