OMRAN Group hosts site visit to Nikki Beach Resort

 
Muscat: Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) recently hosted a site visit to the Nikki Beach Resort, which is currently being developed as part of the Sustainable City – Yiti. The visit aimed to assess the progress of construction and was attended by several ministers and dignitaries from various government institutions, as well as members of the executive management of OMRAN Group.

The visit comprised a viewing of the completed construction works for the Sustainable City - Yiti, which is part of the first phase of the master plan for the Yiti Integrated Tourism Development. The group also received an overview of the components and details of the Nikki Beach Resort, a 5-star hotel considered to be one of the most significant additions to the luxury hospitality sector in the Sultanate of Oman. The delegation was also presented with a report on the ongoing construction works, which are progressing according to schedule. During the visit, they had the chance to visit a model of one of the resort's luxurious chalets, which will be available once the resort is completed. The model showcases the concepts of luxury and hospitality that are signature to Nikki Beach resorts worldwide.

Mohammed bin Abdullah al Salmi, Senior Development Manager at OMRAN Group, stated, “We are pleased that the construction works have progressed to such an advanced stage in the development of this pioneering resort. The resort will bring a new concept to the hospitality industry, blending the richness of Omani culture with modern luxury. This aligns with OMRAN Group’s efforts to create sustainable and distinctive tourism destinations, strengthening Oman’s position as a preferred global destination for tourists.”

He stated, 'This resort is being developed within the confines of the Sustainable City - Yiti, which is a landmark project that follows the highest standards of sustainability and a green economy in the Sultanate of Oman. It aligns with all the principles of sustainability and sets the foundation for creating a destination that reflects OMRAN Group's vision of establishing it as a local landmark and a globally renowned destination with world-class cultural, educational, and entertainment facilities.'

The resort, expected to open in the first quarter of the next year, boasts a unique and award-winning design, having received the ‘Best New Hotel Construction and Design Arabia Award’ in its regional category at the International Property Awards 2022. With 140 hotel rooms and 30 villas, it will offer an array of dining concepts and facilities, including the beach club, three one of a kind and luxurious restaurants, swimming pools with unique panoramic views, Nikki Spa, Tone Gym, and a marina. As a top mega-yacht destination, the location will appeal highly to the yachting community.

The resort will be operated by Nikki Beach & Resorts, a globally renowned luxury lifestyle and hospitality brand. The brand’s signature elements – music, dining, entertainment, fashion, and art – will be seamlessly integrated throughout the property, creating the iconic atmosphere for which Nikki Beach is known.
