Sultanate offers earthquake relief flights to Syria

Muscat - On the Royal Orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Omani Charitable Organization, and in cooperation with the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), conducted air relief flights to the earthquake-affected areas in the Arab Republic of Syria.
The flights are operated by military transport aircraft of the Royal Air Force of Oman, carrying relief materials and essential humanitarian needs.
Even the search and rescue team from Civil the Defense and Ambulance Authority has left for Turkey to take part in international operations.
The operation of these relief flights comes within the framework of the humanitarian efforts provided by the Sultanate of Oman in emergency and exceptional cases these flights will continue over the coming days, in solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic and the friendly Republic of Turkey.
