MUSCAT: The Muscat Nights 2023, a successor to the Muscat Festival, comes to a close tonight after almost 17 nights of exciting activities and entertainment in rain and winter evenings.
The concluding weekend saw performances from Omani artists Haitham Rafi and Muhammad al Manji at Al Naseem Public Park and Qurum Natural Park respectively. On the last day of the event, Omar al Abdallat and Khaled Abdel Rahman will entertain the crowd.
Throughout the festival, the Oman Automobile Association has been busy hosting a series of events, including esports, which was a major attraction. The light shows at Qurum Natural Park were also a hit among families, providing a delightful experience.
A unique event of the festival has been the show jumping championship, which combines the authenticity of the Arabian horse with its cultural dimensions and the objectives of the Muscat Nights’ entertainment activities.
In addition to the music and sports events, the festival also featured a Madagascar cartoon theatrical show, ice cream land, and children's cinema, which will be missed by children until next year's Muscat Nights.
BRIDAL SHOW
The Bridal Show, held from February 1-3, was another popular event of the festival. The exhibition brought together 50 small and medium Omani organisations, 30 international companies, and 18 designers, nine of whom were Omani, to showcase the latest designs, fashion, beauty, and care products related to the wedding and events sector. The show was held under the umbrella of Muscat Nights activities, offering a platform for industry professionals, exporters, and those working in the bridal sector.
With its diverse offerings, the Muscat Nights was a hit among locals and visitors alike, and the concluding weekend's events were no exception.
