Muscat Night's "Bride Show" helps ease burden of wedding preparations

 
The countless needs of a wedding, a gamut of do's and don'ts, and the multitude of things to do once the date is fixed for that 'big day' seem to be strenuous.

However, come the 'Bride Show', the three-day 'all about brides' beginning on February 1 as part of the Muscat Nights which comes to an end on February 4, one would be better informed about the day one says 'I do'.

A plethora of multinational companies specialising in weddings is all set to be here to talk to those who need to clarify how to tie a knot and how to walk the carpet when you are the cynosure of the eyes seeking 'the best of you'.

“We are conducting the Bride Show to advance diversity and compete with international companies specialised in the wedding event management industry and making the fashion sector anew,” a spokesperson from the Muscat Municipality, the key organisers of the Muscat Nights told the Observer.

“We consider this exhibition as one of the comprehensive and major exhibitions that are held annually,” he added.

The event, to be held under the auspices of Her Highness Basma bint Fakhri al Said at 5.30 pm on Feb 1 will see numerous brands and individuals specialized in making the special day even more special.

The three days will be a platform for those specialists in weddings to show their potential takers the most exclusive wears and accessories available in the Sultanate of Oman. It will be a confluence of suppliers who offer great value for money to those who visit where they will be spoilt for choice as local as well as international brands in fashion apparel, wedding wear, casual wear and grooming options, the latest international wedding and fashion trends are meeting in a dedicated hall.

The show will also offer a kaleidoscopic view of the trends in designs, fashion, care and beauty products related to the wedding sector events, and it is considered one of the most important specialised exhibitions in this field besides designers and models walking the ramp flaunting their creative styles.

It will also be a show of hotels and restaurants, tourism companies, beauty salons, hairdressers, salons, spas, incense and perfume centres, the flowers sector, photography, video, wedding and fashion accessories, wedding gifts and services, lighting, audio, promotion, production, home furnishing, and other sectors of interest suitable for family, weddings and parties in general.

SUPPORT TO LOCAL SMEs

As many as 100 local and international companies have consented to be part of the major show of chic and several female entrepreneurs representing SMEs small and medium enterprises in the Sultanate will also be a part of the event.

“The participation of more companies helps increase diversity and competing with the most prominent companies not just regionally but internationally,” he adds.

Daily tickets to watch fashion shows are available at the OCEC as well as via the ticket-booking link for the Muscat Nights activities between 11 am to 10 pm.

It is the show of style and fashion at weddings as it brings together the spirit of creativity, innovation and design in the sector. The exhibition will also present prizes and gifts to the visitors daily, especially those who are about to get married, according to the organisers.
