A festival of fun and technology for youth

With adrenaline-rushing rides and games at entertainment avenues, the Muscat Nights has many attractions for youths, just as families call it a 'complete family festival.'

Stand-up comedy shows, musical evenings, anime singers, electronic games and a lot more are in store for the youth at the event grounds. At the same time, the ROP's mobile campaign against drugs is telling the youths to be away from the menace.

Young girls can look forward to experiencing the Japanese kimono costume at the Oman Automobile Association, while tournaments and cash prizes for participating in the competitions and watching the heat of the challenge in the stands of the 'Gaming' area is a sure bet.

Little ones are in for a treat at the exciting segment of making and drawing cartoons, presented by the international trainer, Bob Fahman, who has already captured the hearts of children visiting the pavilions.

Playing mobile games is no longer time-consuming at the Muscat Nights grounds. Still, a unique experience for the kids to play for their favourite teams and have fun at the regional level.

'We are happy to note that the Muscat Nights has already captured the minds of both families and youth alike, and the rides and games are proving to be a wonderful bet for those who want to make the most for their children,' Ibrahim al Hasani, one of the members of the organisers, said.

Some of the areas one shouldn't miss are the Al Taybeen, which keeps all the wonders for the youth, the upcoming events that will be hosted by the 'Drift Arena' theatre, with upcoming participation by Rasha Rizk and Japanese artist Chihori, as well as the voice of pop singer 'Nina Wells and Christy' and many others.

EXCHANGE GAME

In addition to what is presented in the sports arena at the Oman Automobile Association, visitors to Muscat Nights can enjoy an amateur segment called 'paddle game', which is held from 4 pm to 10.30 pm daily.

The paddle game, which is considered a racket sport, differs from the well-known ground tennis sport in the United States and Canada, as it is usually played in pairs on an enclosed court that is about 25 per cent smaller than the size of a tennis court. The height of the ball during the play is at or below waist level.

CREATIVE VILLAGE

Muscat Nights invites people to the Creators Village, located in the outdoor area of the Oman Automobile Association. It is one of the activities that can be visited for free. It is established in the external space of the association, through which it is possible to move between the booths kept for the creative youth where they can unwind their creativity in colour drawing and pencil drawing.

These activities indicate that Muscat Family Nights has set aside a destination for young people and youth that enables them to choose events that suit their tastes and destinations and tickets can be pre-booked on the Muscat Nights site.

Muscat Nights will continue until the fourth of next February, keeping a bigger space for children and youth, an experience that they will cherish for life.
