North Al Sharqiyah OCCI delegation concludes visit to Saudi Arabia

IBRA: The trade delegation at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate concluded its visit to Saudi Arabia on Friday,.

The visit comes within the framework of the mutual visits carried out by trade delegations from the Chamber’s branches in the Sultanate of Oman to various countries of the world, in order to exchange experiences in the commercial and economic fields.

The trip also aimed at attracting investors to establish commercial projects in the country, and discussing partnership with business owners and commercial institutions in those countries.

The Saudi visit included many meetings held by the delegation of the North Al Sharqiyah Chamber, headed by Muhammad bin Nasser Al Maskari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber’s branch.

Al Maskari stressed that the visits enabled joint cooperation between the Omani and Saudi sides in exchanging and encouraging investment between the two brotherly countries.

The delegation also held a number of meetings with Iman Al Mutairi, Saudi Deputy Minister of Commerce, and CEO of the National Competitiveness Centre, in addition to meeting with stakeholders in the Riyadh Chamber, where they discussed many aspects of cooperation and partnership in attracting capital between the two countries.

A number of businessmen and owners of SMEs from North Al Sharqiyah Governorate visited factories and commercial and economic establishments in the Kingdom, to the Dates Factory in Riyadh, the farm project of Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi, and to the Royal Commission to the city of Riyadh, in addition to the United Riyadh Factory. — ONA
