Netflix to release Omani web series tomorrow

Muscat: An Omani web series 'Scattered Barriers' will be released on Netflix on January 12, 2023.
As a result of the pandemic, taxi driver faces issues such as upheaval, unemployment, and devastating personal tragedies.
The plot revolves around the taxi driver who refuses to take the situation of Covid virus seriously until he loses his mother to the disease.
He then tries to come to terms with the changes brought about by the pandemic.
To be broadcast in six episodes from Thursday, the series features Amina Abdel Rasoul, Ibrahim al Zadjali, Essam al Zadjali, and Salama al Mazrouei.
The series is part of Netflix’s content strategy for the Middle East.
