OQ launches social investment projects worth RO 3 million

Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, presided over the launch of OQ’s Social Investment Projects in Musandam Governorate. The ceremony was attended by walis, members of the State Council and Shura Council and some officials of OQ Group.
The Chief Guest was briefed about the social investment projects carried out by OQ, a global integrated energy group, in the wilayats of the governorate. OQ has delivered a number of projects with a value amounting to about RO 3 million as part of its social investment commitments.
Commenting on OQ’s social investment projects, Ashraf bin Hamad al Mamari, CEO of Human Resources, Technology and Culture at OQ, said: “These projects embody the social responsibility of OQ and its commitment towards the local communities it operates in. The projects enhance the efforts made to provide services as part of the development projects carried out by the government of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.”
