Oman attends GCC meeting on tourism

Riyadh: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, took part on Sunday in the 6th meeting of GCC tourism officials, held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The meeting aimed to enhance joint cooperation and coordination in the tourism industry between GCC countries.
Oman’s delegation was headed by Azzan Qassim al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism. Present at the meeting was HH Sayyid Faisal bin Turki al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting discussed a spectrum of topics, namely the Secretariat General’s suggestion regarding cooperation in the entertainment field and exchanging tourist groups among GCC countries, to name a few.
