Muscat: Scattered rains are expected in some parts of the Sultanate of Oman, Oman Meteorology said on Sunday.
The impact of an atmospheric depression (low pressure) on the Sultanate of Oman started on Sunday morning, leading to the flow and formation of clouds over the northern governorates, and opportunities for scattered rain over Musandam Governorate, on the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman, and on parts of the Hajar Mountains.
Earlier in the day, Oman Met Office had alerted on fog conditions stating, “The spread of fog and low clouds over parts of the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar may lead to a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility, so please pay attention.”
