ROP issues guidelines for vehicle decorations

The Royal Oman Police, represented by the Traffic Department, has issued guidelines for those who wish to place stickers in vehicles on the occasion of the 52nd National Day.
The Traffic Department said that stickers on vehicles will be allowed between November 3 and 30.
The stickers should not extend to the vehicle’s “front and side windows”, number plates, or lights, and the images in the rear window should not affect the driver's visibility.
- Unfixed fabrics are not to be placed on the engine hood.
- Not to put offensive and immoral expressions.
- Not to change the color and shape of the vehicle or use unpolished materials or stickers that do not comply with traffic safety requirements.
The posters should be limited to pictures and phrases related to the occasion.
