As part of an integrated procurement policy, the General Secretariat of the Tender Board (GSTB) has announced the launch of the first unified tender for the purchase of government vehicles, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The unified tender is expected to help raise the efficiency of government procurement, as government agencies benefiting from the framework will be entitled only to local purchase orders provided that they have budgets and needs.
There will be no need for the government entity that uses the framework contract to repeat the series of contracting and attrition procedures, as this is guaranteed by the expected framework contract.
This will allow better management of purchasing operations for this category of needs.
