Auto fuel production sees increase: Report

Muscat: The total domestic sales of refineries in the Sultanate of Oman increased by 16.8 percent at the end of July 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, according to statistics issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information.
The production of auto fuel 95 increased by 11.8 percent to reach 9,258,500 barrels compared to the same period in 2021, and its sales increased slightly by 0.7 percent to reach 7, 239, 600 barrels, while exports amounted to 2, 745, 900, an increase of 93.1%.
Auto fuel production (Grade 91) increased by 1.7 percent to 7,562,600 barrels at the end of July 2022, compared to the same period in July 2021, while its sales amounted to 7,235,900 barrels, an increase of 54.9 percent, and its exports decreased by 69.8 percent.
Diesel production during the month of July witnessed a decrease of 14.1 percent compared to the end of July 2021 to reach 18, 220, 900 barrels, while its sales increased by nine percent to reach 8, 366, 600 barrels, and its exports decreased by 29 percent compared to the same period in 2021 to reach 9 percent.
