30 agreements signed for fuel stations

Muscat - The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning on Tuesday signed 30 agreements under the usufruct system for integrated fuel stations in most of the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, spread over 101, 842, sqm, and with an investment value of RO5, 600, 000.
The new fuel stations will come up in various governorates - 7 in South al Sharqiyah, 6 in Dhofar, 6 in North al Sharqiyah, 4 in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, 3 in Muscat Governorate, two stations in Al Dhahirah Governorate, and one each in Buraimi and South al Batinah.
The ministry said the new agreements are as per plans to provide 630 plots of land for various commercial, industrial, agricultural, educational, and health purposes, as well as gas stations.
Of these, 130 lands are distributed under the direct usufruct system, and 200 via public bidding with a usufruct system for a long period of time up to 99 years.
