Oman reaffirms its commitment to UN values

New York: The Sultanate of Oman reaffirmed its constant stance concerning its commitment to the United Nations charter and values that aim at fostering the principle and culture of peace and establishing relations of good neighborhood.
Mohammed bin Ali al Shuhi, Second secretary at the Sultanate of Oman’s permanent delegation to the United Nations, delivered the country’s speech at a High-Level Forum on the Culture of Peace held at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
The Sultanate of Oman reiterated its policy of non- intervention in the internal affairs of states, which is a key pillar of Oman’s foreign policy and part and parcel of the Omani values.
The Sultanate of Oman also emphasized its role in serving peace on all the regional and international levels including fixing the truce signed between the warring parties in the sisterly Republic of Yemen and contributing to creating rapprochement in a number of issues of the Middle East. — ONA
