West Asian beach soccer draw today

MUSCAT: The Jordanian capital of Amman will host the draw for the second West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) beach soccer tournament on Monday. The tournament will be hosted by Saudi Arabia from May 16 to 21.
Seven teams will participate in the tournament including Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Palestine, Bahrain and Kuwait.
During the draw, the teams will be divided into two groups, so that the first and second placed teams will qualify for the semifinals.
On the other hand, the remaining teams will play to determine the positions from five to seven in the league system.
The West Asian Football Federation has communicated the mechanism of draw to the participating federations along with the technical and administrative instructions for the tournament.
The Oman beach soccer team continued its training in its internal camp attended by 16 players chosen by national coach Talib bin Hilal al Thanouni. Oman came second in the first edition of the WAFF beach championship hosted by Iran in 2013 .
Oman squad: Mundher al Oraimi, Mashal al Oraimi, Salim al Oraimi, Khalid al Mukhaini, Amjad al Hamdani, Nouh al Zadjali, Ahmed al Owaisi, Younis al Owaisi, Sami al Balushi, Abdullah al Buraiki, Yahya al Buraiki, AbdulRahman al Fazari, Sameer Jameel, Mohammed al Mawali, Nouh al Battashi and Abdullah al Souti.
