One dead in a cargo ship fire in the Philippines

Manila - A cargo ship caught fire on Sunday in central Philippines waters, leaving one dead and three injured, the coastguard said.
The cause of the fire that gutted MV General Romulo has not yet been determined, the coast guard said.
The ship was sailing in waters off the city of Talisay, 575kilometres south of Manila, when the fire broke out.
The ship's chief engineer was killed, while three other crew members suffered severe burns, the coast guard said.
The vessel, which had a total of 20 crew members, was on its way from Manila to Cebu City when the accident happened.
