The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr Said Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Chairman of the committee in the presence of committee members that included other ministers, undersecretaries and private sector representatives.

Held at the Ministry of Economy, the meeting covered several topics on the agenda, including following up on approved decisions taken during the last committee meeting. Additionally, the committee discussed the media plan of the National Competitiveness Office (NCO), which will enable the office to reach the targeted segments of surveys issued by international organisations and raise overall public awareness.

The meeting also reviewed the Sultanate’s positions in international reports and indices listed in the Oman Vision 2040 that NCO monitors and discussed ways to advance the Sultanate’s position.

NCO coordinates with local and international parties to raise the Sultanate’s rankings in international reports and indices.
