Municipal Council of Dhofar Governorate meets

Salalah: In its meeting held on Sunday, the Municipal Council of the Governorate of Dhofar discussed several topics related to ways of enhancing services and municipal work in the governorate’s various Wilayats.
The meeting was chaired by Sayyid Mohammed Sultan al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar.
The meeting reviewed the procedures undertaken to implement the decisions and recommendations of the council in its previous meeting. It also discussed the outcomes of the meetings of specialized committees in the council.
The meeting also touched on the recommendation of furnishing sports facilities in residential neighborhoods and their work mechanism.
Moreover, the council took note of a number of proposals, particularly those related to the National Urban Development Strategy in the governorate. --ONA
