London: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met Queen Elizabeth II of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Head of the Commonwealth, at Windsor Castle in Berkshire county on Wednesday.

The meeting comes within the context of His Majesty's current private visit to the United Kingdom (UK)

His Majesty the Sultan and Queen Elizabeth II exchanged cordial conversations and reviewed the historical relations between Oman and the UK. They also touched on cooperation between the two sides in various spheres that serve interests of the Omani and British peoples.

The meeting was attended by Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman. — ONA
