RAFO celebrates graduation of pilots and air officers

MUSCAT: The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) celebrated the graduation of a new batch of pilots and air officers under the auspices of HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tareq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, at Ghala Air Base and Sultan Qaboos Air Academy, on Wednesday.
The new batch includes air officers course, officer candidates course, limited service course and college officers.
The graduating officers staged a military parade as part of the graduation ceremony.
HH Sayyid Asaad, Chief Guest, praised the high standard of the graduating officers, stressing the role played by the trainers and supervisors in the grooming of the officers and pilots.
The chief guest presented the aviation wings to the graduating pilots and presented the sword of honour to flying officer Abdullah bin Said al Maamari who achieved the first place in the officer candidates course.
