A joint working group comprising the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education has been formed to ensure the safe return of students to schools.
The Department of School and University Health and the Directorate General of Nursing Affairs of the MoH and Guidance and Awareness Department of the Ministry of Education are part of the working group.
The formation of the working group is aligned with continuous cooperation between the MoH and MoE. It is based on the guidance of the Supreme Committee on Covid-19 and other competent authorities working for the safe return of students to the schools.
The teams are conducting field visits to schools to follow up on the implementation of the school's precautionary measures and identify the challenges facing the implementation of school health services.
The work teams have been divided into three groups, each consisting of members from the ministries of health and education. The groups cover all the governorates in the Sultanate according to an agreed schedule.
Meanwhile, a unified supervision visit form has been prepared for all the groups that covers heads like school clinic, environment, school cafeteria, health awareness, and other health and guidance services.
