MCCC sweeps Junior Division honours with rare title treble

MUSCAT: Completing a rare title treble in a remarkably successful 2020-21 season, Muscat Cricket Coaching Centre (MCCC) swept the Junior Division honours at the prize-giving ceremony held by Oman Cricket (OC) at its sprawling Ground One in Amerat on Sunday.
MCCC sides won all the Junior Division tournaments, receiving champions trophies from Oman Cricket Board Directors including Madhu Jesrani, OC Secretary, Kiran Asher, Treasurer, and Syed Anwar Ahsan in the presence of Duleep Mendis, Chief Development Officer, Oman Cricket.
Indian School Muscat (ISM) claimed the runners-up trophies in Under-19 and Under-16 categories while Indian School Wadi Kabir (ISWK) emerged runner-up in Under-13 competition.
Top Under-19 prizes went to Syed Muzahir Raza of BOC (Best Batsman), Amanpreet Singh Sirah of ISWK and Adeel Abbas of MCCC (Best Bowler).
