Contractors hand over Oman Pavilion for Expo 2020

 
Muscat: Mohsin bin Khamis Al Balushi, advisor at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Commissioner-General of the Sultanate at Expo 2020 Dubai, officially received the National Pavilion of Oman at Expo 2020 Dubai” from the main contracting company that carried out the construction and fit-out works.

Oman Pavillion is now ready to receive Expo visitors a month and a half before its start on October 1, 2021, after it was rescheduled in 2020.

The Sultanate’s pavilion was designed in a distinctive modern style inspired by one of the icons of nature in the Sultanate, the frankincense tree.

The Sultanate’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai will not be limited to the Omani Pavilion but will include a set of Omani events over a period of 6 months, including participation in scientific, artistic, cultural, and economic seminars on various topics, in addition to the Omani Products Exhibition, an exhibition for small and medium enterprises, and the Omani Investment Week.
