MUSCAT: ISM Bridge, an endeavor of Indian School Muscat, seeks to empower students to become their own bosses and learn new skills. It is the new initiative to equip students with the skills they need to make a good difference in themselves and the world.

ISM BRIDGE (Business Research, Incubation, and Innovation Development Growth Entrepreneurship) aims to feed students' new ideas, equip them with abilities to develop entrepreneurial skills in young people, promote creativity and self-confidence, encourage creative start-ups and elevate the role of entrepreneurship in society and the economy. The school has made huge strides in bridging the ISM vision with Oman Vision 2040.

Chief Guest Mohammed Al Rasbi, Managing Director, Techween & OTF Accelerator program and Entrepreneur, virtually unveiled ISM Bridge Logo on Zoom Platform. He was ecstatic to reveal the new logo, which was created by Tetala Satya Narayana Reddy of 12 F. The logo was designed exclusively to represent the ISM Bridge vision - Inspiration, Innovation and Incubation of ideas which are represented by the three high-rising I-s in the logo. Students, Teachers and Management are metaphorically represented as working together to achieve new heights of achievement. The exquisite bridge symbolizes the core fulcrum of Indian School Muscat, which aspires to bring the students' ideas to life.

Guest of Honour Dr Biswajit Saha, Director of Skill Education and Training at CBSE, virtually launched ISM Bridge website and delivered a keynote address in which he hailed the extraordinary efforts and initiatives of the school, particularly during this pandemic. He also asked parents and teachers to encourage the students so that they may use their creative brains to solve real-world challenges that are not covered in textbooks. And he advised parents to enable their wards to choose one skill topic from class nine.

During this event Shreya Sunil, a talented student entrepreneur from 12 H, delivered a highly interesting and creative PowerPoint presentation on ‘CREATO,' which is the name of the chair that includes sensors to correct the postures of users when attending long online classes or meetings. Moreover, this chair, which is developed and built with sensors, allows for automatic adjustment and might even be converted into a trolley. She also mentioned that the product was environmentally friendly and that it was affordable to individuals of all income levels.
