New head of Oman’s water utility tours key wilayats

Qais bin Saud Al Zakwani (pictured), CEO of the Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company (OWWSC) - Member of Nama Group - visited the Customer Services Offices in the Governorates of Al Batinah South and Al Dhakilyah. The tour covered the wilayats of Al Rustaq, Barka, Al Musannah, Nizwa, Bahla, Samayil and Al Jabal Al Akhdar.
During the tour, Al Zakwani engaged with company employees and listened to their suggestions and views on improving the Company’s business, as well as challenges they encounter in providing their services to the general public. The discussion also included an outline of the company’s future strategy and vision.
The CEO expressed his sincere thanks to all employees for their keenness in improving services to consumers. “We are confident that the sector’s cadres will translate challenges into achievements, and also contribute to a work environment characterised by hard and systematic work that will result in many opportunities to develop the company’s business and achieve its goals.”
The CEO also stressed the importance of adopting modern technologies and practices, and urged all employees to continue to adhere to safety protocols in light of the continuing pandemic threat.
He added: “In any business, the human cadre is the main element of any business success and in the OWWSC, we are proud of our distinguished employees who work continuously to make achievements through achieving their tasks and their continuous role in developing and improving the Company’s business and services.”
