Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) organized the Sanad Services Centers Forum and exhibition on Tuesday in the presence of Dr. Laila bint Ahmed Al-Najjar, Minister of Social Development and Qais bin Mohammed al Yousuf, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, among others.
The opening event included the signing of six agreements and the launching of four new online services.
The agreements were signed with Awasr and Vodafone Oman in the telecommunications sector, Dhofar Integrated Services Company, Oman Credit and Financial Information Centre (Mala’a) in the financial industry, Al Madina Takaful in the insurance sector, and with Bank Sohar in the banking sector.
MOCIIP launched a service to authenticate a medical report issued by a private medical center in the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to launching insurance services in cooperation with the Superjet platform of Gulf Travel Company, as well as a travel ticket booking service in collaboration with the Jodoba platform of Al Raqi Business Company. The centers will also provide the service of issuing credit reports affiliated with the Credit Information Center (Mala'a).
The first license for Sanad Service Centers was issued in 2006, and today hundreds of centers are distributed across the various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman to provide the best and fastest electronic services to citizens and residents, which contributes to enhancing digital transformations and achieving the vision of the Sultanate of
