MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday marks Sultan’s Armed Forces Day which falls on December 11 every year. The Sultan’s Armed Forces Day is a remarkable occasion that has been celebrated since 1975 to highlight the national achievements SAF has been making since its establishment.
The celebration comes in appreciation of the progress and modernization achieved by the SAF and the great national tasks and roles it is undertaking.
The SAF will hold a number of celebrations that include activities reflecting the development it has achieved in various fields thanks to the great attention accorded to SAF by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik al Said, the Supreme Commander. — ONA
