Kuwait: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers arrived in Kuwait to lead the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation at the 45th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit.
Upon his arrival at the Amiri Airport, Sayyid Fahd was received by Sheikh Mishal al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait.
In a press statement, His Highness conveyed heartfelt greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the leaders of the GCC member states.
He expressed His Majesty's sincere wishes for the summit’s success and continued progress and prosperity for Kuwait, its leadership, and its people.
Highlighting the milestones achieved by the GCC since its establishment, Sayyid Fahd remarked, “The Cooperation Council has made remarkable accomplishments across economic, social, legislative, and scientific fields, necessitating collective efforts to sustain these gains and deepen integration among the Gulf members that have shared history and aspirations.”
Sayyid Fahd also affirmed the Sultanate of Oman’s continuous support for the GCC’s objectives and commended Kuwait’s pivotal role in advancing the council’s mission.
The Gulf Summit serves as a platform for leaders to explore strategies aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and addressing common challenges, further solidifying the unity of the Gulf countries.
